American Stout for Bourbon Barrel

Our club bought a bunch of bourbon barrels so I brewed a big stout to put in my barrel.  To keep the barrel wet until the beer was ready, I put a fifth of Glenlivet Scotch in the barrel.   I kept it in barrell only ten days since other brewers said the wood was strong after just two weeks.  The bourbon dominated the wood so I’m letting it age in the keg to mellow out.
